Thriving in Leadership
Is Your Leadership Undervalued, Misunderstood, or Needing a Reset?
Leadership Fatigue is on the Rise, But You're Not Alone
In this fast paced and rapidly changing world, leaders everywhere are experiencing fatigue. It’s hard to remain an inspiring leader when our mental, emotional, and physical states are running on empty. Leaders everywhere are finding that their intentions are not coinciding with their impact; that their communication style is not as effective as it once may have been.
Leaders are struggling to create and maintain trusting relationships, they are frustrated by the deepening divides in the workplace. They yearn for harmonious environments powered by individual accountability and constructive collaboration. As tensions and challenges rise, so must our leadership rise to the call of restoring care for the people and the processes with which we seek to achieve meaningful impact.
We are at a tipping point. The factors contributing to today’s workplace discord and interpersonal disconnect are varied and complex. We can spend a lot of time pointing our finger at the external factors; but we must also develop the capacity for self-accountability. Increasingly, fundamental socio-emotional skills that support healthy interpersonal dynamics–such as reciprocity and empathy– are missing, or sorely underdeveloped. The capacity to remain connected to our common humanity is jeopardized even as we aim to address that very goal.
Everyone has a leading role to play in being the change we want to see in the world. People want to transform organizations, communities, environments, often without fully grasping the commitment to personal transformation that they will be faced with. Like author and U.S. Surgeon General Vivek H. Murthy, MD said, “Human connection is the foundation on which we build everything else.”
Introducing the C.A.R.E. Approach
I am committed to living and leading in alignment with my values of integrity, personal accountability, reciprocity, and empathy. It’s not always easy, but it is always worth it. In the 20 years I’ve spent in the social impact sector I’ve had the great fortune of gaining invaluable life lessons. Lessons that crystalized for me the three pillars that uphold my commitment especially when the going gets tough. Mindfulness, humility, and courage.
Mindfulness invites me to be ever aware of myself and of others–of how I’m being impacted, but just as important, of how I’m impacting them. Humility reminds me that being human involves making mistakes; but more importantly, humility creates the space my mind and heart need to admit to and learn from those mistakes. And courage is a constant choice. The choice to get back up; the choice to accept responsibility, the choice to lean into growth; the choice to care. I’ve learned over the years that these pillars are capacities, and that we can all strengthen them if we choose to.
I am passionate about supporting individuals–changemakers– who are ready for change. Ready to more actively embody their values, elevate their leadership, and contribute to a more care-centered world. We’ll embark on a tailored journey through the 5 principles of the C.A.R.E. Approach: self-(re)discovery, self-awareness, self-acceptance, self-accountability, and self-actualization that will crystalize your values and take your goals to new heights.

You might be wondering, "How can I be sure I’m "ready"? I can tell you, it’s not about having everything figured out before the first call. That’s what we’ll work on together. Readiness is about that yearning for something more, something different. Readiness is that feeling you can’t shake, that something’s got to shift. Readiness is knowing in your heart that the shift is ultimately for you, and must therefore, begin with you. Today, like every day, you have the power to choose.
You can choose to prioritize yourself, because you’re worth it. You can choose not to figure this out all by yourself. You can choose to take the next step.
